With more than 23 years of business experience as a hands-on manager, director and C-level Finance professional, Steve Filreis has a long, proven track record of creating, managing and operating all aspects of a financial organization in a variety of domestic and international organizations. Mr. Filreis' experience extends from finance basics and process to controls and reporting. His experience with personal and commercial financial transactions and reporting proves that attention to detail, understanding of transactions and a view of the situation are critical to success.
While living overseas in various capacities, Steve not only managed his own financial affairs, but also was responsible for the financial arrangements and tax issues of other expatriates, both U.S. citizens and third country nationals from an administrative perspective. Among his responsibilities in the U.S. included selection and oversight of the expatriate tax and relocation outsourced functions.
After more than 19 years in one of the most widely-respected finance organizations in corporate America, Steve led the finance team at a start-up company through to its first significant funding. In addition, Steve has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, in many financial capacities and has worked with organizations' management teams to institute controls, systems, procedures and reporting.
